***************************************************
Recently, we received some new Ryobi tools for our yard, and we're demo-ing them to tell you our thoughts about these handy, new tools.
Although Ryobi gave us these products, all opinions are still my own. I'll definitely let you know if there are any concerns or disappointments. With that said, I'm very happy to let you know that we are very pleased with the Ryobi products!
But first, before moving forward, I need to share with y'all a few important requirements to ensure the safety of the user.
Always use safety glasses, ear plugs, long pants, and closed-toe shoes.
Keep long hair pulled back and away from tools. Avoid loose clothing or jewelry.
Follow instruction manuals on where to hold the tools. (Many require two-handed operation.)
Contact Ryobi if you have any questions or concerns.
We received the Brushless Chain Saw, the String Trimmer and the 40-V Charger with USB Port.
Y'all! I'm here to tell you that these gadgets work extremely well! My hubby is the handyman around here, and when he tried them out, he was so pleasantly surprised at how well they worked! He has always shied away from the word "cordless" when it came to any tool, but after playing with them the other day, he's hooked!
The batteries are strong and long-lasting, which is a huge change to the overall reputation of previous cordless models!
The first product we tried out was our new trimmer.
We're so happy and pleased with the fact that our trimmer moved quickly and efficiently and even put out some strong power. (Yes, we've been going through a serious drought and extreme heat all summer, so please just ignore the fact that our grass is brown. When we've been blessed with rainy seasons in the past, our grass is a beautiful, luscious green! So we'll take what we can get!)
A few fun facts about our trimmer:
The 40V String Trimmer with Battery and Charger
attachment capable
variety of speed triggers for cutting control
includes a 40V lithium battery
highly recommended product
After we played with our new trimmer, we then headed to the backyard at the woods line and proceeded to remove an unwanted gum tree. The chainsaw was powerful enough to cut the tree down with ease. Afterwards, we were greeted with a wonderful aroma of fresh-cut wood....It was perfection.
Once we finished up with the front yard, we then proceeded to the backyard to use the new chainsaw!
The 40V 14" Brushless Chain Saw:
delivers power similar to that of gas
light-weight
starts up instantly
side-access chain tensioning
highly recommended product
We are so happy with our new chainsaw and can't wait to use it with many more projects to come!
The USB charger is another fun and very useful product! It can be used when you don't have access to electricity, such as on camping trips or hiking outings...or for just being a backup to any Ryobi, 40V battery-charged tool.
In the pic below, you'll see it's getting a full charge so that it'll be ready to go for the next big project or outing!
The 40V Charger with USB Port
compatible with all 40V Ryobi batteries
includes a USB port for charging any small electronic device
for use with Ryobi 40V batteries only
highly recommended product
The trimmer AND the chainsaw were easy to maneuver and had lots more energy left in their "tanks." My hubby was saying that he also loved the fact that these battery-operated tools don't just slow down when the they start to run out of juice. They actually go full force until the very end, and that's a huge plus! And the battery is very lightweight and is such a great staple to have in your arsenal of tools!
As I mentioned before, we're very pleased with our new Ryobi products, and we can't wait to use them for years to come! A huge thank you to Ryobi for partnering with us!
