Woodsy Christmas Entry

I chose to go with a "woodsy" theme this year for our Christmas decor, so that meant decorating with rustic touches, such as antlers, burlap fabric and cozy, faux furs. I styled our entry using my favorite method: mixing store-bought decor with vintage and thrifted finds.
For all of my farmhouse-style lovin' friends, you'll appreciate this deal that I found on craigslist. You see that galvanized chicken feeder sitting on the old chair? Well, I found THREE of those feeders for a whopping total of $25....The one you see in the pic above was the smallest of the 3. Not sure yet what I'll do with the other 2 feeders, but they'll be put to good use -- I can promise you that!
The vintage plaid throw was an antique store purchase for $10, and all the greenery is from my sweet mama.
Loving this cursive wooden sign that I picked up at Target's dollar spot. Not sure what I'll do with it next year....Maybe spray some Krylon Glitter Blast spray paint to give it a very sparkly look, or maybe I'll just leave it the way it is.
The beautiful, old wooden chair was a thrift store purchase for $5, and those amazing snow shoes were only $5 at a yard sale!
To add a little rustic flair to the wreath, I made a quick and easy banner that spelled out "Joy." First, I cut small triangles of burlap fabric and used a sharpie for the letters. Then, I grabbed some mini clothespins and attached the burlap triangles to some jute. Easy peasy!
